Prices at Barber Berry Farm, LLC

You do the picking:

        Blackberries (Late May through June)   

              1/2 gallon bucket:  $10
              1 gallon bucket:     $18 (approx $3 a pound)

        Blueberries (Late May through early July)

              1/2 gallon bucket: $10
              1 gallon bucket: $18 (approx $3 a pound)
              3 or more gallons: $16 per gallon

        Muscadine and Scuppernongs (Mid-August through September)   

              1/2 gallon bucket:   $6
              1 gallon bucket:      $10 (approx $1.70 a pound) 
              3-5 gallons:              $9 per gallon
              6 or more gallons:  $8 per gallon

On sale at our fruitstand when in season:

        Blackberries and/or blueberries (Late May through mid-July)

              $4 per pint    

        Muscadine (Mid-August through September)

             $3 per pint  or $5 per quart
             $15 per gallon bucket  (need 24 hour notice to allow time for picking)

        Peaches (Mid-June through end of August) 

             $5 per bucket

        Hydroponically grown Tomatoes  (June through September)

               4 for $3 (Variety = First Lady II)
            
        Watermelons (August and September)
     
              $4 each
 
       Asian Persimmons (October)
 
              6 persimmons for $4 each (approx $2 a pound)
 

Home or Business Deliveries:

For those of you that just don't have the time or means to come to the farm when we're open, we will pick blueberries for you for $20 a gallon. You can pick them up at the U-Pick or we can deliver them on Thursdays to you anywhere within 20 miles of our farm for an additional $5 delivery charge. The only catch is you need to place your order at least 24 hours in advance so we have time to pick them.


Forms of payment:

We accept cash, local checks, Alabama Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)/Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) coupons and FNS Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) EBT cards.  Credit and debit cards and out of the area checks are not accepted.  There is no sales tax on fruit.
